The IPMEN 2025 conference will be held in the city of Kaohsiung, Taiwan between Monday April 14 and Thursday April 17, 2025 and will be hosted by the Taiwan National Academy of Marine Research (NAMR) and there will be two key venues.
- The conference will be held at the National Sun Yet-sen University (NSYSU), 70 Lianhai Road, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
- A five-day accommodation package (Sunday April 13 to Thursday April 17, 2025) will be offered at the Watermark Hotel, 31 Shaochuan Street, Kaohsiung.
As a result, international delegates are advised to fly to Taiwan on Sunday 13, April and home on Friday 18 April. There should be two options for flights to Taiwan:
- Fly direct to Kaohsiung International Airport KHH and make your way to the conference hotel (approximately 13 kilometres).
- Fly to Taoyuan International Airport TPE in Taipei then travel by commuter train to central Taipei (Tsoyan HRS Station) and highspeed train to THSR Zuoying Station in Kaohsiung. After that it would be a short taxi trip to conference hotel (approximately 13 kilometres).
Note: This is only preliminary advice for delegates planning to travel to Kaohsiung and more detailed advice will be added by the end of October 2024.
