  • Harry Breidahl (Melbourne, Australia): Nautilus Educational, Monash University (retired), the Australian Association for Environmental Education (AAEE), OLWA and co-founder of IPMEN plus co-convenor of IPMEN 2008 in Townsville, Australia.

  • Dwight Owens (Victoria, Canada): Ocean Networks Canada, Future Earth Ocean Knowledge Action Network steering committee and a member of the American Geophysical Union Science & Society section executive and co-convenor of IPMEN 2025 in Canada.
  • Pieter Romer (Victoria, Canada): Ocean Networks Canada, member of the Nisga’a Nation and co-convenor of IPMEN 2025 in Canada.
  • Michelle Smith (Hawai’i, USA): biology lecturer at Windward Community College in Kaneohe, Hawai’i.
  • Dr Tsuyoshi Sasaki (Tokyo, Japan): Professor in the Department of Marine Policy and Culture – Tokyo University of Marine Science and Technology and president of Asian Marine Educators Association (AMEA) and convenor of IPMEN 2014 in Japan.
  • Shi-Han (Hanna) Yen (Keelung, Taiwan): Masters student at National Taiwan Ocean University and Asian Marine Educators Association (AMEA) Youth Committee.
