Presentation Title: Empowering Ocean Champions Through Climate Action Pedagogies
Presentation Description: Today’s youth are vulnerable to feeling eco-anxiety due to the impacts of the climate crisis. Educators are expected to help youth address this despite the lack of reliable resources. Through climate action pedagogies, the synergy of meaningful TEK learning, and up to date and reliable ocean science can empower your students to become Ocean Champions. So, join Ocean Wise for a workshop filled with activities and discussions to learn about how you can integrate these climate action pedagogies in your course curriculum and gain access to our education resources.
